Brief

Completed in December 2005, the 4.4km route is an important part of the local transport infrastructure for the 212 Olympics. Charcon was asked to provide platform products which would meet stringent performance criteria whilst replicating the look of high quality natural granite.

Solution

Charcon Specialist developed a unique coper with a textured surface using a reinforced mix of Cornish granite aggregate and leemoor sand. Charcon also supplied tactile edge warning paving in charcoal grey to complement the copings.
