Brief
The Highways Agency planned to replace all old SOS phones with a
state of the art modern system. Charcon Specialist was asked to
produce a pre-cast concrete plinth as a base for this system.

Solution
In line with the Highways Agency brief, Charcon designed and
manufactured the plinth with a 120 year design life. It is quick
and easy to install and has rebates and conduits for incoming
cables. A unique acid etch finish was also applied to provide skid
resistance for users safety.
