Brief

To provide support and protection to a large diameter of heating and gas pipes. The units and to be easily installed, have removable covers for access to the services and be able to accommodate brackets and channels to hold the pipes. Additionally, the trough space envelope needed to be adequate enough to allow air flow around the steel pipes it encased.

Solution

Charcon Specialist offered their LT Access Ducting where three sizes from the extensive range were supplied. The various depths and widths that Charcon offer allowed for each area of the sites requirements to be met. The trough and lid system came complete with lifting equipment for easy installation and the ability to remove the covers at a later date. The units are also designed to accommodate cast-in channels, minimising M&E site works.
