Charcon Goes Full Circle for New Hemisphere Building
Charcon has won a new project worth £100m to provide its Eco
Range of paving and kerb products to a residential development in
the West Midlands.
The Redrow-owned Hemisphere Building boasts 344 one and two
bedroom apartments, it situated in Edgbaston, Birmingham and will
see Charcon supply its EcoPave and EcoKerb products to the
project.
Both provide optimum design flexibility and strong visual appeal
and will compliment the nine acre mixed use scheme perfectly.
Charcon's Eco range has been specifically created with
environmental credentials in mind, containing the highest level of
recycled and secondary material of any current paving product.
EcoPave block and flag paving and EcoKerb have also been
developed to maximise productivity – the optimum use of finite
resources - by minimising waste in the producing factory and by the
use of renewable materials in the production process.
