offers a full SUDS design service the key stages and elements of
this service are summarised below:
Stage 1 - Data Review and Outline Conceptual
Design
- Review of site data, drawings, design parameters for stormwater
drainage scheme
- Preparation of preliminary calculations for drainage
design
- Preparation of philosophy statement to explain conceptual
design
- Preparation of schedule of principal quantities
Stage 2 - Conceptual Design and Scheme
Detail
- Review of site data, drawings, design parameters for stormwater
drainage scheme
- Preparation of effluent/silt loading calculations for
stormwater treatment
- Preparation of AutoCAD drawings showing conceptual scheme
arrangement and typical details
- Preparation of bill of quantities
Stage 3 - Detailed Scheme Design
- Preparation of detailed hydraulic and structural calculations
for submission to scheme Engineer/Contractor
- Hydraulic modelling of drainage scheme
- Preparation of detailed engineering drawings showing layout,
construction details, ancillary details sufficient for issue as
tender or construction drawings
- Preparation of pre-tender CDM risk assessments relevant to the
proposed scheme
- Preparation of ‘as-built’ drawings (if required)
